We had the privilege of planning an LGBTQ+ elopement in Venice for two brides who wanted to celebrate their love in an unforgettable way. Planning an elopement is a dream come true for many couples looking for an intimate and unique experience. When this experience takes place in Venice, the most romantic city in the world, the result is pure magic.
The symbolic ceremony was held in the garden of an exclusive hotel overlooking the Grand Canal. A romantic white wrought-iron structure, adorned with floral arrangements in shades of periwinkle and orange, served as the backdrop for this special moment. The atmosphere was intimate and refined, perfectly emphasizing the beauty of the love uniting two souls.
One of the most emotional moments of the ceremony was the exchange of rings. The brides chose unique jewelry, crafted with precious stones in the colors of the event’s palette. These rings were not just symbols of their bond but also authentic works of art, reflecting their personalities and the love they share.
After the ceremony, the brides enjoyed delicious mini cakes specially prepared for them. The elegantly set tables were decorated with fabrics matching the floral colors and enriched with details such as teapots and teacups, creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere. Every element was carefully chosen to tell a unique and personalized love story.
The creative wedding design project was inspired by the famous painting “The Swing” by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. This masterpiece, with its light and romantic charm, was reflected in the handmade paper stationery and the swing installed in the garden, adorned with flowers. These details made the elopement even more special, providing the brides and their guests with an immersive and evocative experience.
