A Romantic Dream Between Art and History
Organizing a wedding at Locanda Cipriani means immersing yourself in a timeless atmosphere, amidst the authentic beauty of the island of Torcello and the charm of Venetian history. This iconic venue, made famous by artists and writers, hosted a wedding inspired by Antonio Canova’s renowned sculpture “Amore e Psiche,” offering the couple and their guests an unforgettable experience of elegance and sophistication.
The day began with a religious ceremony at the stunning Church of Santa Fosca, one of the island’s architectural gems. The exterior and interior of the church were adorned with delicate floral arrangements in soft pink tones, pampas, and branches, creating an intimate and dreamy atmosphere.
To welcome guests, a truly special welcome sign was set up: a hand-painted canvas placed under a majestic tree illuminated by lanterns. Ribbons and pages from Apuleius’ book of the same name added a poetic and literary touch, perfectly in line with the art and mythology-inspired theme.
The reception took place in the romantic Locanda Cipriani, where the couple welcomed their guests with a stunning imperial table. The table setting was meticulously curated, featuring flower-filled jars in soft pink hues and handcrafted copper wire place cards, adding a unique and personalized touch.
The wedding favors, kept in elegant linen boxes decorated with delicate flowers, reflected the romantic theme of the event. The confetti, also in the wedding’s color palette, were placed in elegant heart-shaped containers, adding a sweet and symbolic detail.
The wedding cake table was carefully arranged to ensure aesthetic harmony. A soft pink fabric drape and floral arrangements framed the wedding cake, crowned with a handmade copper wire cake topper, perfectly matching the other decorative details.
Every element of this wedding at Locanda Cipriani was designed to evoke the magic of art and history, transforming the special day into a unique and personalized experience.
