An Enchanting Birthday Celebration for a Little Girl in Venice

A Fairy Tale Forest Inspired by Cicely Mary Barker’s Flower Fairies

Organizing a birthday celebration for a little girl in Venice is always a unique and emotional experience, and when the theme evokes the magic and charm of Cicely Mary Barker’s famous Flower Fairies, the result can only be extraordinary. In a stunning venue in Venice, we transformed the space into a true enchanted forest, offering young guests a fairy-tale and immersive experience.

For the event’s scenography, we handcrafted a majestic giant tree made of papier-mâché and polyurethane foam, enriched with leaves, moss, and small wooden fairy houses. Surrounding the tree, oversized felt mushrooms contributed to creating the atmosphere of an enchanted forest, evoking a magical and suggestive world.

The children’s table was a true masterpiece, featuring a central decoration composed of moss, small mushrooms, and luminous jars containing delicate fairies, casting a soft and enchanting glow. Each young guest received a personalized party kit, meticulously designed to make the event even more special. The kit included a paper cup with the guest’s name, a lollipop decorated with a fairy, a bag of chips, and a popcorn bucket, all customized with graphics inspired by Barker’s illustrations. Completing the table setting were leaf-shaped napkins and wooden cutlery, perfectly in line with the naturalistic theme.

The showpiece cake and personalized sweets were also adorned with the enchanting illustrations of the Flower Fairies, making the dessert table a true feast for the eyes and the palate. The children, full of excitement, were entertained by a performer dressed as a fairy, who brought a magical show to life featuring cotton candy and giant soap bubbles, creating a moment of pure wonder.
